Paris - Ibis Gare de Lyon

This week was a good good good week. I want to London and Paris and stayed at the amazing Ibis Gare de Lyon hotel in Paris.

More about my "travel experience" can you read in my next blog that will be online on the 5th of August.

Now more about the hotel and my stay.

I stayed at the Ibis Gare de Lyon for two nights.

The hotel is located near the train station 'Gare de Lyon' where you can take a metro and RER (the train to the airport and the central stations). There are also bicycles and a carrefour market around the corner. It takes 25 minutes to walk to the Notre Dame or to Centre Pompidou so the location is perfect

The hotel it selves serves breakfast from 5 am till 12 pm so you have enough time to go to the breakfast. You can chose out of a breakfast buffet. There is a lot of choise; for example there are pancakes, croissants, different cheeses, bread, egg's, ... There's something for everyone. Breakfast is my favorite part of the day so I enjoyed it every day as you can see on the pictures underneath.

One of the better things is that the hotel has a garden. It's a small garden but you can sit outside in the middle of Paris. That is such a luxury. You can take your breakfast outside or spend the afternoon there.

The rooms are very big and practical. When you walk into your room you have an hall with storage to store your luggage and unpack it. When you walk trough the small hall you come in to the real 'room' where you have a big size bed for two persons and on each side a night table and lamp. There is also a desk in the room with a special USB-block to charge your phone or other technical supplies. The rooms is very big so you have enough place to walk around. the bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a mirror with lights in it, what every make-up geek will love.

I really do recommend staying at this hotel just because everything is so practical and modern. I love the design and the vibe of the hotel and I'm sure that you will love it as well.
